Inside Out is a support group for the proud men and women who have served in their State or Federal penitentiaries, who have changed and desire to change even more. Inside Out is interested in helping others by being an example so they won't have to go to prison. Let's show the public that we have changed so that maybe they can too.
An Ex-Prisoner is one who knows they are not going back to the prison they have been in because they have changed and are continuing to change .
A Few Inside Out Goals:
- To Set Free all Prisoners whether the prison is inside or outside of them.
- Continue Changing Ourselves - through sharing, learning, unlearning and … practicing what we learn!
- To Establish Support Groups Everywhere.
- To Change the Image of ex-prisoners who have changed.
- To re-unite the living spirit that connects us all worldwide.
What Inside Out is Not About:
- It's not about playing con games.
- It's not about getting a handout.
- It's not for people who already know everything.
- It's not about what we can do for you.
- It's not about Religion or Traditions.
- It's not about controlling or ranking members.
- It's not about lies and half-truths.

is God given. Make the choice to
make the change”

Something Has To Change
We read a lot about the prison system, how it is not working. The cost is skyrocketing, and no one knows what to do. We keep reading about the 70% of people that return to prison. We hear very little if any, about the 30% that are not returning to prison. It would seem to me that if we can't find out why the 70% are returning then we would be interested in the 30% who are not returning. Why don't we hear more about them? Why not learn what it is that is keeping those 30% free and on the right path?
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful
people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever
has.”
Margaret Mead
